Introduced to Penticton in 2011 as the Skaha Climbing Festival as part of the 100 Years of Adventure in BC celebration this Festival has since grown to encompass the many adventure sports that the area has to offer.

Friday, June 9th, 7-9pm – Hoodoo Adventure Company, movies will be projected on the climbing wall.  Bring a blanket to use on the mats, space is first come first serve, there will be mat space, couch space and lawn chair space available.  Max 50 people, we appreciate an rsvp but drop-in’s welcome as well!
Cost: $5 – donated to the Youth Outdoor Recreation Society

Climbing Competitions

Saturday – Skaha Bluffs – Free  – pick up score sheets at Hoodoo Adventures at 9am to register

Climbers keep score of their personal climbing between the hours of 10am and 2pm – Prizing will be given to top points, score sheets must be turned in by 7pm back at Hoodoos.

Categories for Beginners (Grade 5.5 – 5.9)

Intermediate (Female 5.10a-5.11a, Male 5.10a-5.11b)

Expert (Female 5.11b+, Male 5.11c+)

Points 5.5 = 1point, 5.6 = 2 points, 5.7 = 3 points and so on…

On Sunday, June 11th, head to Cannery Brewing to enjoy some free live entertainment by Jeremy Head. Jeremy will play from 6-8pm. There is no cover charge, so pop on over to the brewery and enjoy a craft beer, some live local music and a relaxing end to the weekend.
