The Penticton Ramada Elevator Race Makes "Canada's Coolest Things 2012" in Explore Magazine!!
Hoodoo Adventures is now firing up their new adventure/multi-sport racing series! With international experience participating in races, running events and sponsoring and contributing to major sporting competitions including the World Mountain Bike Championships in New Zealand, we are excited to introduce new and exciting events to the Okanagan Valley.
Racing for a cause? This new racing series will be used to raise money for local Youth Outdoor Education and Conservation Programs, giving kids a chance to participate in a variety of outdoor/adventure activities who would normally not get the opportunity. Help us enhance the lives of the youth in our community!

Our first race to introduce the series is "The Penticton Ramada Elevator", a ski to sea style race with a twist.
Ascending instead of descending this 6 stage race will be held between Penticton and Apex Mountain.
The Elevator is set for
March 31, 2012 and will be run annually keeping you and your team pumped for your next race.

Watch this space for more information on our first Fall multi-sport race. To be held between Penticton and Chute Lake with a 14km paddle, a 12km mountain run, 36km mountain bike and a 4km trail run to the finish. This will be another annual race to remember!!

Check out our New Adventure and Multi-sport Series!!!
   
With a goal to create opportunities for our local youth, we are organizing an annual 7KM run/walk from Skaha to Okanagan Lake down the Channel Parkway walking path.
Participants receive a Santa hat and are encouraged to dress up in their best Christmas costumes/outfits, creating quite the spectacle as we paint the Parkway a festive red while raising money for our local youth.
Finishing with cookies, hot chocolate and great draw prizes, families and individuals can enjoy a fun morning of exercise, Christmas Spirit and giving back to the Community!

Santa Run 2011 Raised almost $1000 towards for
Youth Outdoor Pursuits in Penticton!!
Watch the Spring/Summer 2012 Penticton Community Center Recreation Guide for the Conservation Hiking Program and Kayak Clinic that will be subsidized through our fundraising efforts bringing down the cost of the programs by over 50%!!
We will also be enrolling 4 local youth that wouldn't normally get the opportunity into these programs for free!!
